Description: o Analysis of data network and recommendation for circuit upgrades/changes o Recommend, configure, install and maintain network infrastructure components (LAN, WAN, firewall, load balancer, and Internet/VPN) o Troubleshooting network hardware, software, and network performance; address routing problems. o Manages changes, additions, move orders for WAN circuits o Eevaluating and testing new technology for implementation o Project management for hardware installations of new network systems and upgrades to existing systems. o Administer and support interconnectivity (RAS, IPSec VPN, and SSL VPN) between home-based clients and the organization o Producing reports, documentation, and technical writing to record network activity, topologies, and systems o Acts as the point of contact between our network vendors/service providers o Administers after hour duty to ensure seven day per week network availability Requirements: • Minimum 3 years experience as network engineer • Experience with Cisco routers, Cisco switches, Cisco PIX firewalls • Experience managing hardware and software vendors, service providers, telecom carriers, and hosting companies. • Experience with: TCP/IP, Internet communications, Intrusion Detection Systems, OSI protocols, Routing, VLANs, Wireless communications and security, Asynchronous communication, ISDN, Premise Wiring, IPSec, Firewall Technologies (traditional and desktop), Ethernet, Frame Relay, and Broadband.
